Compact remote PHY node for fiber deep and MDU environments

Teleste DAN3 is a compact remote PHY node that is optimized for fiber deep and MDU environments. It supports full DOCSIS® 3.1 spectrum with maximum of 6 OFDM- and 2 OFDMA-channels. It is designed to provide operators with a smooth way to deploy distributed architecture in their networks. A true alternative for operators eager to take a quantum leap and build networks having substantially higher capacity.

Powerful tool for network transformations

The device utilizes full spectrum downstream capacity up to 1.2 GHz downstream whereas return path supports 204 MHz bandwidth. DAN3 has 2 x 10 Gbe SFP+ (2nd for redundancy) with up to 10 Gbps downstream throughput and up to 2 Gbps upstream throughput. This makes DAN3 a powerful tool for operators who are looking for a reliable solution for network transformations.

Interoperability with different CCAP cores

The interoperability of Teleste distributed access solutions with major CCAP core vendors has already been proven in tests, trials, and field deployments. The DAN3 meets CableLabs® specifications ensuring interoperability with different CCAP vendors’ core solutions without requiring specialized development or back-office upgrades.
