Moca Access for MDUs
The Intercept™ EO system delivers up to 2.5 Gbps downstream and 2 Gbps Upstream over legacy coaxial cabling and is targeted primarily for MDU applications where coaxial cabling is existing within the premise. EO delivers a highly resilient and loss tolerant ethernet data transport over RG6 or RG11 coaxial cable, and is the most effective Gigabit delivery method for apartments, campuses and businesses requiring Multi gigabit data rates without re-wiring the premise for fiber.

EO utilizes MoCA Access™ technology and OFDM channel architecture to deliver a generous link budget of 55 dB over coaxial infrastructure, ensuring superior performance even where legacy July 27,2023 passives are present throughout the existing premise wiring environment.
